Sometimes we hold onto who we used to be because it feels familiar.
Even if it was painful.
But growth will challenge familiarity.Healing will challenge comfort.
And I thank God I’m not who I was.
I’m not the woman who stays silent to keep peace.I’m not the woman who overgives to be chosen.I’m not the woman who hides pain behind productivity.
I’m evolving.
And it’s a blessing.
